A Life Time Journey, With Many Lessons.

To leave is to be happy. You learn from your mistakes and your mistakes become lessons, lessons that help you live the life you want. Because you do choose who you want to be. Everything ever created starts with a dream, the dream of you what or who someone wants to be. So, DREAM BIG. When faced with a disaster asked yourselves: "Will this matter 5 years from now". Don't get cough up in a pointless situation, MOVE ON. Make peace With your past so it doesn't screw up the present. It's always good to say "sorry, my mistake or forgive me" as well as "I forgive you". FORGIVE. Stay in touch with family and friend, because at the end of the day that's all you will want to have close to you, being able to have someone next to you, someone you can talk to and trust. LOVE YOUR FAMILY. Time heals everything so give time some time. Learn to APRECIATE THE MEANING OF TIME, and life in general and try not to worry too much about your wounds.  Life isn't always fair but it's great to be alive. Life has its up's end down's but you have to learn to move on from the and learn the best of those mistakes. APRECIATE LIFE, live it with no regrets and with a positive attitude. Be the person you want to be, believe in you, have goals. Through your journey you learn new lesson, life time lesson. The most important one, ENJOY YOUR LIFE.

 

 

Work to be Happy

 



I have always had the same opinion when it come to work and being happy with your job and your self. I have always said that if you are not happy at where you work then why stay there and be unhappy. Why not switch job? Look for something that will make you happy and will help you stay happy. It's hard to find the perfect job and it's a challenge to be happy at your work place. But its not impossible. Put your self in the right situation,  I know money is important but I believe we also need to take care of our selves and look ahead for our happiness and enjoyment life.

Losing Our knowledge

Advertising comes in different froms, with only one goal, to persuade individuals into buying what ever product being announce. Jay Chaitt wrote something that really caught my attention he explain " We  have very little direct personal knowledge of anything in the world that is not filtered by media" meaning technology is taking over. We only notice things that are brought to us most of the time we don't take the time to explore by ourselves. Advertising is definitely ahead of us, and our control. We are easily being led, brainwash, and loosing self knowledge by advertisers, and all the marketing.

My Road, My Dreams, Me

I attended Anderson Valley Jr/Sr high school, home of the Panthers. High school has been one of the greatest times of my life. Graduating high school was a great accomplishment and an awesome experience. High school holds unforgettable memories with great friends and an awesome family. That time of my life is something that I will always remember and will always miss as I grow older.

 

 

I am currently attending SRJC where I am pursuing a career in nursing. I want to get my associate degree, because helping others is one of my everyday goals, specially the sick. I really enjoy this campus is very peaceful and fun to be around. This experience has been a bit challenging to me but is something that I will never regret taking.

 

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to work in a hospital as a nurse, helping the sick and provide them with the help needed. I find the field very passionate and I have a very special interest for it. The idea of meeting my goal of becoming a nurse brings me strength to keep working hard and not give up.

 

 

Taking about passions another one of my passions are sports. I am very passionate when it comes to it. I love to sit and watch basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, football, and sometimes soccer, as well as I like to play them. Being an athletic person is something I thank god of possessing because it has definitely helped me to where I am today. It keeps me stay active and that something I really enjoy.    

The road has been tough, it has its curves here and there, but it's only up to me to make it worth it. To follow my dreams and be the best of who I become in life. I am determent to make my parents proud and my family happy.

Five Looks at a Book

"The giver" by Lois Lowry

Five words that can describe the theme of the book are:
Sameness, Lack of Identity, Confusion, Courageous, Adaptation.

Sameness- The community believe in quality. It was use to protect the community from forming social classes or groups. No one was allowed to be better than another.

Lack of Identity- The people in the community were basically given a role. They were given all the rules to follow. They weren't themselves.

Confusion- Out of all the rules to follow it would get confusing on what you were allow to do and not do. the community was very strict on the rules. Everything seem so colorless.

Courageous- A way to describe the main character "Jonas". He loves, cared, kind, intelligent, adventurous, brave.

Adaptation- The people in the community would conform with what they were given. They wouldn't disagree with their colorless role.

How safe is your information once is entered into your computer:

I after find my self wondering how safe is my information or how many people have access to all my information. Many may think that just because you computer says you information is safe that it is.

I have learn NOT to trust technology when it comes to personal information. I have gotten hacked before  its very disappointing because you don't know who is interested in you information or why they would want your information in the first place.

After all whatever you do on the internet, just remember that your information is not as private as you think, and its your decision to give it out or keep it to yourself.
